All transmission and generator operator users of the Midwest ISO Outage Scheduling System are requested to test their access to the new system during these open window tests. CROW Outage Scheduler users who have been registered as such by their Local Security Administrator (LSA) should access the Market Portal (on the Web at: https://markets.midwestiso.org/MISO/), select the Scheduling Apps pull down menu, and select the Outage Scheduler option. The user will automatically be linked into the CROW Outage Scheduler application. Upon opening the Outage Scheduling application, users are requested to verify that they have appropriate View or Submit rights and access to appropriate generation and transmission equipment. Please report any problems or questions to osr_communications@midwestiso.org or call the Midwest ISO at 866 296-6476. Further Information Each Outage Scheduler Users Local Security Administrator (LSA) grants each user View or Submit rights through registration on the Market Portal. If you have been granted Submit rights, you will be able to submit or create outages on the equipment you operate. View rights do not allow the user to submit or create outage requests and only view outage information that has been previously entered in the outage scheduling system. Given that this test does not include live data and only contains test outages, limited outages will be available to View access users. The user can validate Submit/View and equipment access by selecting the Outage Scheduler application through the Market Portal. As reviewed during the CROW training classes, select the Outage Requests tab. If a user has View rights, they will not have the option to select the New Outage Request button. Users with Submit rights, can select the New Outage Request button, under the Equipment Requeste |

Midwest ISO will be performing system maintenance on the ASM Production Day-Ahead and Real-Time (DART) system from 0210 to 0240 EST on Sunday, October 11, 2009. There will be an associated outage of the DART web pages and XML interfaces (including outgoing XML notifications) during this time. It is anticipated that 3 to 5 UDS intervals will be missed, during this time the use of the Dispatch Target Adjustment Mode may be used. This change will not affect ICCP data. Real time updates will be sent out as needed. Midwest CRSG members may receive an error message when entering a request for ARS assistance, but the event will be processed normally within the ARS system. The error message is to indicate the event was not processed within the Midwest ISO market dispatch systems. All BAs external to Midwest ISO dispatch should adjust their NSI as per normal operation to receive or supply ARS assistance MW?s. If anyone receives an error message when entering an ARS event, please contact the Midwest ISO Balancing Authority Operator to confirm that we have received the event. The Balancing Authority Operator will then be able to verify that all affected participants have acknowledged the event in the Midwest |
