Vice President of Human Resources Greg Powell is responsible for all organizational matters related to the Midwest ISO’s workforce practices, including recruiting, retention, succession planning, diversity, management, employee development, compensation strategies, culture management and organizational structure.
We have outstanding employees here at the Midwest ISO and, as we move our organization forward, a key priority is employee development.
Mr. Powell is a veteran Human Resources executive with proven leadership in all aspects of organizational management , including employee development, organizational effectiveness, employee policies, and compensation and benefits. His expertise in strategic talent management and best-in-class people practices for strategic growth and development are pivotal to supporting the nature of Midwest ISO’s specialized and increasingly complex business.
Mr. Powell joined the Midwest ISO from the Sun-Times Media Group in Chicago, where he served as Vice President of Human Resources. He also has served in Human Resources leadership roles for Sears Roebuck & Company, Helene Curtis (Unilever), and Spiegel Catalog Company.
Mr. Powell graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and then went on to earn his Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
