Bryan Kearney
Midwest Independent Transmission System Operator, Inc.

Bryan Kearney is responsible for leveraging the latest advances in technology for the most efficient operation of the wholesale markets and power transmission system the Midwest operates. As Vice President of Information Services, Mr. Kearney ensures the reliable and secure operation of technology across multiple data centers in the Midwest ISO network. He is also responsible for the technology staff and manages the organization’s IT budget.

Mr. Kearney first joined the Midwest ISO in 2007 as Director of Information Technology Services, and then served as Executive Director of Information Technology Operations.

Prior to joining Midwest ISO, he was Vice President and Chief Information Officer for the Idaho Power Company and its parent holding company IDACORP Inc. He also served as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Bear Creek Corporation, an Oregon-based retailer and direct-marketing company commonly known as Harry & David.

Mr. Kearney spent several years in the public sector, having served as director of systems and information services for the following government entities: Shasta County, CA; the City of Fort Worth, Texas, and Stanislaus County in California. He is also a veteran commissioned officer of the United States Marines Corps.

Mr. Kearney graduated from Hiram College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and he earned a Master of Science degree in Systems Management from the University of Southern California.
