** Planned DART Maintenance Scheduled for Oct 12 from 0215 to 0300 EST**

The Midwest ISO will perform maintenance on the Day-Ahead and Real-Time (DART) system from 0215 to 0300 EST on Sunday, October 12, 2008.

This effort will require that the following functionalities be unavailable for the duration of the outage:

- Day-Ahead and Real-Time systems of the Market Portal - Items listed under the DART tab in the Market Portal - Joint Operation Agreement application, including the JOA portion of the NERC IDC

Once this maintenance begins, Balancing Authorities (BAs) will be directed to use the last Net Scheduled Interchange (NSI) provided by Midwest ISO in their ACE equation and change generation output within their area to control ACE. The Midwest ISO will then communicate with BAs as needed to make necessary adjustments. Messages will be sent out in real time as needed to keep participants informed of the Midwest ISO status.

In addition to the unavailability of market systems, please note that the outage will also impact the availability of data found on the Midwest Market website (midwestmarket.org) specifically, the "Real Time Information" and "LMP Contour Map and Data" pages.

Please contact your customer accounts representative if you have questions.
